I was born in Kunsan, South Korea on an Air Force base and moved back to Southeast Columbus as a baby. I graduated from Groveport Madison High School in 1987 and then attended THE Ohio State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Education in 1993.
Kim joined the BIG team in early 2021 as a licensed Property & Casualty agent. In addition to helping clients with their insurance needs and running the office, she also focuses on new business, training and special events. A University of Cincinnati graduate, Kim lives in Powell with her husband Tim and their two children, Sara and Colin. In her spare time, she loves to cheer on her family, play with the two cutest golden retrievers, attend frequent Barry Manilow concerts and spend as much time as possible in theme parks.
Emilie joined the BIG team in 2021 and is a licensed Property & Casualty agent. A Michigan native and Michigan State University grad, Emilie has lived in Powell since 2013 with her husband, Randy and their two daughters, Ellie and Abby who attend Olentangy Schools. She has a passion for traveling and her newest goal is to take her kids to as many states as possible (just over 20 left to go!) before they graduate high school. She welcomes any and all travel tips! You might find her helping her daughter run her etsy shop or chasing her two dogs, Gus and Hazel, in the backyard!
Tricia was born and raised in Delaware county, graduating from Buckeye Valley High and Otterbein College with a degree in Music & Business. She has lived in Powell for nearly 20 years with her husband John and son Owen, who is now a college student at Miami University... and their 2 rotten terriers. After many years of school PTO and Music Booster volunteer duties, Tricia joined the BIG in August 2023. She had previously worked in insurance with Kim & Emilie, and they talked her into coming out of insurance “retirement” to help out with the administrative tasks the office needs. When she’s not in the office, she enjoys singing with her friends in the Gahanna Community Chorus, visiting her son in Oxford and empty-nesting with her love.
I grew up in Westerville, Ohio, and now live in Pickerington with my wife, Emily, our daughter, Ella, two dogs, and a cat. I attended Heidelberg College, where I played collegiate baseball—a passion I continue to share today by training young baseball and softball players in the community. I’m a Certified Financial Fiduciary®, licensed life insurance professional, and Bank On Yourself® Professional with BIG Insurance Group in Powell, Ohio.
